This one was quite straightforward in terms of looking for the addresses due to the camera base being stored in a static location and there not being many different modes of gameplay such as vehicles and what not. There are turrets in the game but they use the same base as the on-foot camera, which is the first time I've come across that. All the other games I've done usually have separate bases for turrets, vehicles, etc., that need to be accounted for separately.

The only thing missing is support for the split-screen mode. The game does let you fight against bots so if someone wants it then I'll go back to this one but for now I'll leave it with just the single player support.

Gameplay-wise this one is a lot of fun. The insane gore and the ability to dismember dudes with a gun is awesome! Enemies go down very easily as well. Headshots will take any guy out or you can just blow their legs out from underneath them.

Although the core gameplay is awesome, I feel the physics engine along with the cover system don't get utilized enough. At the start of the game it seems like there's going to be situations where you run into a room and have to flip a table up to create cover but that is rarely setup in the levels. The physics are used in the gameplay from time to time like when you can shoot or knock out the support of a shutter to create cover or block an enemy from shooting. But there aren't any instances of say, dropping objects on enemies, or shooting out the floor beneath a guy to drop him in a pit. Not sure if they ran out of time but they forgo any sort of physics based gameplay in the outside levels. There's usually boxes to move around for cover but that's about it. I would have also liked to see some more open ended solutions to levels like being able to move around crates or dumpters to get up to higher ground.

The last gripe is the story and the characters. They serve their purpose but are entirely too long-winded. These dudes never stop talking and the cutscenes go on for way too long. I guess they were going for a realistic feel to how these operatives would talk to each other, by describing the plan in vivid detail, but it's just too dry and contrasts with the insanity of the gun fights.

Overall it is a very fun game to play, especially on mouse and keyboard. It takes some getting used to because your character kind of feels like he's on ice at times due to the walk acceleration and this is a little more difficult to account for when try to aim precisely. But it is worth checking out for the gunplay alone and the music is quite good as well.
