The Hilarious House of Frightenstein is a Canadian children's television series, which was produced by Hamilton, Ontario's independent station CHCH-TV. It was syndicated both in Canada and internationally, and occasionally still appears in some television markets.
The plot revolves around Count Frightenstein attempting to bring Brucie J. Monster to life again, restoring his former glory in his homeland so that he may return a national hero.
In this opening of the series episode, Frighenstein is listening to the computer that he has hooked up Brucie J. Monster, but to no avail. Brucie just isn't coming back to life. Then Igor comes in, carrying several buckets. Igor is reprimanded for being late, but Igor had been caught in the rain, because it was raining buckets. They both sing their National Anthem, then Vincent Price introduces the "Zany Zoo", featuring Bwana Clyde Batty, who shows an educational film about the Hamadryas Babboon, The Wolf, Man! spins a tune and dances along with it, playing "air guitar" with a bat-shaped guitar, The Professor Julius Sumner Miller discusses Cycloidal and Trochoidal paths, drives a straw through a potato, and much more!
