
Comic Zone Discussions: The Problem With Forced Diversity
I wanted to talk about this idea for awhile now and that's the idea of pandering and forced diversity in comic book media. Diversity has been around for a long time now with black, female or mutant superheroes, but now the idea of creating characters that are "hollow shells" of their former selves is now being introduced. How do we remedy this problem? How do we make the distinction between bad or good characterization? Find out in the video.
