A little info on Command & Conquer Remastered…
Command & Conquer Remastered is a modern reimagining of the classic real-time strategy games Command & Conquer: Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert, originally developed by Westwood Studios in the 1990s. The games center around the rise of the mysterious alien substance Tiberium and the global conflict between the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod, led by the enigmatic Kane. In Red Alert, the storyline branches into an alternate history where Albert Einstein removes Adolf Hitler from the timeline, resulting in a war between the Soviet Union and the Allies. Both narratives combine near-future technology, espionage, and large-scale warfare, offering players two very different but equally compelling sci-fi military experiences.
From a gameplay perspective, Command & Conquer Remastered preserves the core mechanics that defined the RTS genre—resource gathering, base building, and large-scale tactical battles. Players harvest Tiberium (or ore in Red Alert) to fund unit production, construct buildings, and expand their military might. Armies range from infantry squads and tanks to experimental weapons and superweapons like nuclear strikes and the ion cannon. The remaster also integrates modern features such as updated controls, customizable hotkeys, an improved sidebar UI, and enhanced online multiplayer, ensuring smoother, more accessible play while staying faithful to the original design.
