Command & Control: Spec Ops is an online game from the tower defense genre, placed in a modern, realistic setting. It features all the current military armaments and gear (in great detail), making it look like a simplified version of games like World in Conflict. At the same time, the game features a top-down/isometric view which makes is strangely reminiscent of old-school strategies like Sudden Strike, especially when it comes to detailed models of enemy combatants (which fall to the ground when shot, assume the position when firing, etc.).

When it comes to the Tower Defense genre, Command & Control: Spec Ops is pretty basic, with three types of towers that are divided into anti-infantry, anti-armor and reconnaissance (a booster for the other two). The buildings are upgraded into a more powerful version of themselves while the enemy has infantry and vehicles that try to break through. It also includes two types of special powers in the form of artillery strikes and a close support aircraft attack.

The game is interesting, even though its graphics is of uneven quality and some elements of the gameplay mechanics look like they were seriously rushed during the production phase. The video represents the Operation 3 Cactus Flower gameplay walkthrough which was competed with a single soldier passing through and 3 stars score.
