This first stage took me around 53 minutes to beat. I put this in the Difficult Gameplay Sections playlist since each stage is basically a single section or checkpoint, since you have to beat the stages on a single life before getting to the Save Point. The stage is about 9 minutes long so it can be tough to beat on a single life, though you have a health bar and can pick up health and armor. The bosses take a massive amount of hits if you dont bring the powerful weapons, so the rockets made a huge difference on this first boss.
