I was given a Commodore 1084S-P monitor but unfortunately it didn't work. There was no high voltage when turned on and it made a repeated clicking noise. Rather than try replacing one component at a time, I decided to do a complete overhaul.
I replaced the flyback transformer, 2 main transistors and 50 capacitors. The monitor now works!
