Commodore Amiga Longplay Level 9 Computing Knight Orc Part2&3of3 1987
So this game was certainly difficult, particularly with following an online walkthrough. Lots of random events, particularly with you 'allies' moving and taking actions without specifying as such. This aside, the creativity in this game is nothing short of amazing. It deals with concepts such as an MMO and virtual reality. Essentially you are a 'human' playing an orc in a fantasy land. You go around finding spells to use and recruit people with the ultimate goal of 'escaping'. At any time you can remove your visor, and this reveals the 'real' world.
You need to be cognisant of the fact that this game came out in about 1987, which predated the internet and MMO's etc. In traditional 'level 9 computing' there is a '1000' hint sheet included in the original copy. Essentially the entire game could be completed by using this sheet but it will still not be an easy task. Many instances of you 'dying' and losing your items, then you get resurrected by the 'Valkryrie'.
The game is complete, but i used saved states extensively so the walkthrough is disjointed in a few places. I think it is the only solution of the Amiga version. Its a shame it did not include more in game graphics of locations.
