Sadly, it seems that an Amiga 2000 motherboard has fallen victim to the battery leakage, but of course, there are good chips within that must be assessed and tested and of course very carefully removed from their sockets. It takes great patience, but as we know, haste makes waste, so, it is well worth it to take your time and with great care, work each chip out with firm but gentle pressure...always best to only swap out one chip at a time and see what happens, or does not happen...it is sad when a circuit board is deemed dead, but sometimes an organ donor is needed so that other machines might live...and certainly, there will be lots of other smaller components that can be extracted later should I get into component level repairs.
