I did something foolish! I found a Commodore 64 with a disk drive and a monitor and lots of disks on kijiji, and as it happened, I saw it moments after it went live and I drove for about 3 hours in total to go and get it. I was told it all worked, and it is time to check out the 1541 disk drive! This is perhaps one of the latest version of the disk drive...for example, the drive spins when you put a disk into it all by itself to help get the disk properly seated! How wonderful is that...anyway, time to test this drive and see what is what!
