Despite selling over 5 million units, there are no more than 20 games released for this system.
Yes, it can run 99.9% of the C64 games, but both the 128k Amstrad and the 128k Spectrum models got far more support in the gaming department.
And if it was only using the extra memory as a RAM disk to speed up loading. This never happened on the C128, so I call this a failure despite selling quite well.
Was also horrendously expensive to manufacture compared to the C64.
