While it looks like Soujuuro is adapting quite well to both school and city life it turns out he has a problem: he has too many jobs and the school isn't happy. Fortunately for him, he's got the student council president on his side, fighting to allow him to keep all his jobs. As it turns out, there's essentially a paid "volunteer" position helping out the church that the school higher ups really want someone to sign up for, but no one has been willing to do it. So naturally Aoko signs Soujuuro up for it under the condition that the school ignore all of his extra jobs if he does. Surprisingly this actually works, but it comes with a catch: Aoko ends up getting signed up too.
