This is a video showing the true power of melee versus current(3.9) end game on its hardest(AL8) difficulty.There are lots of viable melee skills that most people don't even know that they exist.I tried to demonstrate almost all skills that can be used with swords.The gear is of course expensive because this is an end game, high budget character.But it's getting easier to farm currency every league, and leagues last 3 months, so it is possible for every kind of player to achieve this kind of gear in given time.I'm posting detailed gear breakdown to the bottom so check that out if you are interested.

Detailed gear explanation and prices
------------------------------------
You will notice that there is a huge gap at the prices of some items so feel free to skip that 1 extra stat unless you have the currency.
Sword - Saviour 15ex
Sword 2 - Any rare foil with 400+dps(5ex+) or a good paradoxica(more expensive)
Helm - Buy the enchant you want then craft with Jagged+Pristine fossils.Most enchants are cheap(below 50c),double strike is expensive(2ex+)
Body - You only want critical chance for bossing.You can pass on explosion if you want.(5 to 15ex)
Gloves - Culling strike is a huge QoL but you can pass that.Craft your own gloves with alterations.Do NOT buy them at absurd prices.(I crafted mine with less than 4ex)
Boots - Tailwind is important for dps.Elusive is for survivalability.You can only get tailwind for cheap alternative.(2 to 15ex)
Amulet - Just get crit multi and flat physical with life & resist if needed.(1 to 5 ex)
Rings - Steel rings are expensive,others are not.You can craft your own rings and most of the time it is cheaper.(Steel ring:3-7ex,other less than 1ex)
Belt - You don't need Flask charge on critical.(1 to 5 ex)
Jewels - (Double crit multi) & (life) & (another damage) jewels are 5-8ex.Transcendant Flesh 1ex(cheaper if you craft it yourself) Watcher's eye with impale last +2 hits 22ex(You can pass this on Duelist/Champion)
Bottled Faith 14ex (Not needed for mapping)
Awakened Melee Physical Support - 10ex
Awakened Brutality Support - 4 ex
Awakened Multistrike Support - 65ex+ (It is very OP that's why, you can still destroy everything without this)
Awakened Ancestral Call - 1 ex (Used on Double Strike,Dual Strike,Heavy Strike,Frenzy)
Awakened Melee Splash - 30chaos (Used on Double Strike,Heavy Strike,Frenzy)
