In this lecture we further discussed the functions of complement system in immunology like inflammation promotion where complement proteins C3a and C5a act as anaphylatoxins. We also discussed that how C5a signals blood vessels epithelium to be sticky for white blood cells.
How virus is neutralized by complement system and how chemotaxis for neutrophils is made by complement system is also discussed. Further we discussed that how complement system activates b cells to proliferate more and how complement system is regulated.
