If you're a casual Guitar Hero fan, there is a pretty decent chance you didn't know that Guitar Hero: Van Halen even existed. Want to know why you've never heard of GH: VH? Here is the list of GH games that came out in 2009:

GH Metallica - March 29, 2009
GH On Tour: Modern Hits (DS) - June 9, 2009
GH Smash Hits - June 16, 2009
GH 5 - September 1, 2009
Band Hero - September 3, 2009 (I understand if you don't personally count this one)
GH Van Halen - December 22, 2009

The arcade machine for GH also came out in 2009. That's 4 console games (5 if you include band hero) and a handheld game in one year, with Van Halen being the last released, and probably the game that they put the least amount of care into.

Don't get me wrong - GH Van Halen is fine -- and I assume it's better if you're a true blue Van Halen fan, but the wheels were coming off the GH franchise quickly.

In this video, we play 'Panama' and 'Running With The Devil' by Van Halen, then 'White Wedding' by Billy Idol, 'Stacy's Mom' by Fountains of Wayne, 'Pretty Fly (For A White Guy)' by The Offspring, and 'Best of You' by Foo Fighters.
