Time to finish off Rock Band 2 and never think of this game again -- let me explain:

First off, we played 'Painkiller' by Judas Priest, and 'Panic Attack' by Dream Theater -- we gold starred them both. We then decided to stop because quite frankly, I don't feel like practicing 'Shoulder to the Plow'. So that's officially 2 songs we didn't gold star - 'Shoulder to the Plow' and 'Visions' - and we are happy with that.

Overall, the problem its Rock Band 2's engine -- it's way more forgiving than Rock Band 1's engine, but it's still too difficult for the average person that doesn't have a ton of time to practice songs. We are going to be playing all of the rest of the DLC songs in Rock Band 3, which is generally considered the best engine that Rock Band has produced.
