Complete in Cast Episode 26 – Game Review #5 – Doom 2016 (Guest: Parker)
Welcome to Complete in Cast, the official podcast for Complete in Box Video games. In this episode, we once again -very much- switch gears and move onto Doom (2016) for PS4.
I have to say, I was a bit worried before playing this one – who doesn’t love the original Doom games? The fear was that this one wouldn’t match up to the lofty heights of its predecessors – boy, were those fears unfounded.
Doom (2016) is a great experience all around, and despite having some newer gimmicks and graphics, it really feels like old Doom. It even has a more fully developed story than the older Doom games! We both really enjoyed this one, and we are very excited for a sequel.
We rate each game in six categories: Story, Gameplay, Sound, Graphics/Atmosphere, Fun Factor, and Replayability. Each category is graded out of 10, and an average of all six scores is the total score. To us, a 5 is average, whereas a 7 is a good experience, an 8 is great, etc.
Enjoy!
