Nightmare of Decay is a love letter to Resident Evil 1 - it was released on May 3, 2022, but still supports PS1 stylized graphics. Gameplay is very much a first person Resident Evil 1, where you slowly find your way through a mansion, discovering its secrets as you explore.

The enemies are very tanky - zombies generally take 6-8 handgun shots to the head - but there is definitely enough ammo in the game to kill every enemy. If I would give a piece of advice to any players, it would be to kill all enemies in any hallways as soon as you can. Zombies can drain your life very, very quickly.

This first video is the initial exploration and clearing out enemies -- we go much deeper and begin to fight bosses next time -- see you then!
