Apologies for the oopsie of dying about 15 minutes through this part -- I think that puts us at 3 on-screen deaths for this game. I was hoping for 1 or 2 so that's.... not the best.

Anyway, we just defeated the 2nd boss, the Piano Monster, and now we've been to every floor except the 8th -- which we head to immediately. At this specific point, I must admit that the exploration is kind of annoying me -- going from the 8th floor immediately back to the 9th floor, just to head to the 1st floor to get the single item we needed to unlock the door on the 8th floor seems like game-padding. Again, I really enjoy this game, but even though it's an indie release, I'll point out the flaws as I can.

After we get away from the 'Tyrant', we run up to the 2nd floor, to go up the ramp to the 4th floor, to -finally- access the elevator on this floor. It is now time to use the 'pliers' and the rod to unlock a lot of unique, optional areas - more soon!
