Compound is a great ode to the 8-bit style that we can enjoy through virtual reality,
while also a very challenging roguelite shooter where you have to survive a series of floors.
So you start in a high building and have to clear floors of enemies, each floor is also different in terms of environment and the enemies are also more difficult and with more the higher you hit.
By shooting enemies you will also find pickups, food or weapons or also ammo. The food will of course ensure that your HP is recharged.
You have a number of weapons that you can use and you can also test them all in the shooting range where there is also a tutorial.
You can also use weapons in both hands but you will still need to keep one hand free to reload or pick up pickups.
You can also view a map and although the floors are not super big, this map will still be useful to find out which parts of the floor you might have missed and also where there are pickups on the floor that you did not see .
