I explore the map, which has been online for a couple of months.

One of the most fascinating things about the game to me is the ruins you'll find scattered throughout the map. The player ruins you'll find have a history to them — at one point, players were there. They built the walls, crafted goods inside, and existed in the game. Something caused their structure to go to ruin — sometimes it was a violent raid, other times they simply moved on to more resource-rich areas. Players might find some scattered, forgotten goods inside a ruin, left by the players that were here and gone.

The first few levels are tough, not only for new players, but also for experienced players accustomed to high-level play. During these first few levels, the player has barely any HP, and creatures I'm used to effortlessly killing give me a real challenge.
