The New World devs are adding a ton of changes to the new PTR patch which could massively affect the meta. The first one are Reflexive Potions, especially Reflexive Health Potions. These are self-activating potions that instantly restore health once you drop below a certain percentage. Another change are bow projectile hitboxes. This change was originally miscommunicated due to a typo and even now, many of the arrow variations don’t seem to act as intended according to the patch notes. Darkness Defined, the Great Axe from the Starstone mutation was nerfed and no longer has Enchanted AND Thwarting Strikes. There’s currently an issue with Gypsum casts for armors, which is why you should avoid crafting them!
