Confirmed - E3 2020 Cancelled (Update in description)

"After careful consultation with our member companies regarding the health and safety of everyone in our industry – our fans, our employees, our exhibitors, and our longtime E3 partners – we have made the difficult decision to cancel E3 2020," the statement states.
E3 2020 - may actually be cancelled for the first time in its 26-year history over the ongoing concerns for public safety.
According to multiple sources from GamesIndustry.biz and collaborating reports from Ars Technica, as well as a tweet from publisher Devolver Digital, the move is all but assured with an official announcement from the Electronic Software Asscoiation - or ESA - who run the show expected at 9:30am LA time according to Bloomberg.
Prior to the announcement, the ESA had remained adamant that the event would still be going ahead in spite of the concerns.
Microsoft will host a livestream to discuss Xbox Series X and Project xCloud.
GDC was postponed and during the show, Microsoft was set to discuss in-game development technologies. It will now share its planned talks via livestreams March 17-18 starting at 10am PT, 1pm ET, 4pm UK, 5pm CEST.
Sony has yet to comment on this current situation.
