Microsoft is making it easier to upgrade from the current-gen console to the next thanks to Smart Delivery. The following games are compatible with Smart Delivery as of making this video. And it will likely to grow over the life of the Xbox Series X.

The following games are third and second party titles. The games are:
Halo Infinite, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Destiny 2, DiRT 5
Scarlet Nexus, Chorus, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, Yakuza: Like a Dragon, The Ascent, Call of the Sea, Gears 5, Second Extinction, Metal: Hellslinger

Xbox Smart Delivery allows gamers to purchase a game on Xbox One, either digital of physical, and receive that game for free on the Xbox Series X when players choose to upgrade. It's up to the developers whether they will support this.

In a news post on the Xbox website, Will Tuttle confirmed that certain Xbox Game Pass titles will be able to utilize this feature. He also noted that Xbox Game Studios titles will be compatible with Xbox Smart Delivery. Which is a given, since they're first party studios and will create exclusive games for the platform.

The new Xbox Series X also will be backwards compatible with hundreds of games, ranging from the the original, Xbox 360 & Xbox One titles. That's a lot of games to play...
