Though the lava still makes you rush this is the only action stage where you have full control of your character and as a result it is probably the easiest one in the game. More than anything you'll get by with trial-and-error and memorization. Just don't forget to wait a hot second when you get onto that last pot, because that falling rock will kill you every time. The only real trick is realizing that you can jump directly to the top of the tallest pillars instead of jumping your way up all of them which saves critical time.
