The opening credits to Conquest, an oft-forgotten and rarely-seen Canadian film set in the prairies of Saskatchewan, most noteworthy for inexplicably vanishing, being completely unavailable online or off for over 20 years. The story follows an idealistic banker in the remote village of Conquest, who attempts to convince a woman to stay after her car breaks down. It is the final film of both director Piers Haggard (The Blood on Satan's Claw) and writer Rob Forsyth (Clearcut). The film stars Lothaire Bluteau and Tara Fitzgerald.
