This is the soundtrack to the 1990 Famicom game Matendouji, released in the West as "Conquest of the Crystal Palace" by Asmik. The music was ripped by playing through the Sound Test with a bootleg Famicom clone, namely the Super Joy III, and recording the composite signal with a video capture device.

If you're familiar with this soundtrack from playing the game in an emulator or on a real NES/Famicom, you may notice how the music sounds a little different. That's because the Super Joy III, a shoddily designed "Famiclone," doesn't quite emulate the system's sound chip all too well, resulting in some channels playing louder or otherwise differently than a real NES/Famicom. The music is still great, mind. It's just... different. In an interesting way.
