For those unfamiliar with cheaply-made Famicom bootlegs, the Super Joy III is one particularly infamous for it's shoddy build quality and design. It also emulates the NES's sound chip a little weirdly. To demonstrate, I've recorded one of my favorite NES soundtracks playing in an SJIII I picked up from an outlet store for pocket change.

Those familiar with the game's BGM through an actual NES or most modern emulators may notice how the SJIII emulates certain channels differently. The result isn't terrible, just... strange. A bit more tinny, perhaps? The bass sounds louder and fuzzier, too, I think.

For comparison's sake, I have (really fuzzy) audio recorded from an actual Famicom in this video: https://youtu.be/beH24np-nTA
...though honestly, you could look literally anywhere else on YouTube for clean music samples.
