Rockman Power Battle Fighters is a Japanese-exclusive PlayStation 2 compilation that combines two arcade titles: Rockman: The Power Battle and Rockman 2: The Power Fighters. Players can choose between Rockman (Mega Man), Proto Man (Blues), or Bass (Forte), each with unique abilities, to battle through various storylines featuring Robot Masters from the Rockman series. The gameplay follows the classic Mega Man formula, where defeating bosses grants the player new weapons. Players face multiple Robot Masters from Rockman 1-7 across different story paths, with only one life, and health can only be restored by defeating enemies.

In Rockman 2: The Power Fighters, new character Duo is introduced, and the gameplay is enhanced with special moves and power-ups dropped by defeated bosses.
