Console Racing Driving Games of 1993 - F1 Pole Position 2
2F1 Pole Position 2 known as ヒューマングランプリ２in Japan is a racing game based on Formula 1 and is very similar to its predecessor F1 Pole Position which released in 1992. Both games were developed by Human Entertainment with both releasing on the SNES, this would be the last entry in the series to carry the name Pole Position until 1997s Nintendo 64 release F1 Pole Position 64. The next two entries in the series would switch to the Human Grand Prix name.
Like its predecessor F1 Pole Position 2 is a licenced game with names an driver profile pictures of a selection of F1 drivers with the likes of Gerhard Berger, Michael Schumacher, Damon Hill, Jean Alesi, Mika Hakkinen, Ricardo Patrese and Alain Prost. Real life team names are also licenced with Williams, McLaren, Beneton, Ferrari, Footwork, Sauber and Tyrrell represented in the game.
