Console Sports Games of 1993 - Boxing Legends of the Ring
1Boxing Legends of the Ring is a boxing game focussed around the middleweight division of the sport and features 8 legends of the division Sugar Ray Leonard, Roberto Durán, Thomas Hearns, James Toney, Marvin Hagler, Jake LaMotta, Sugar Ray Robinson, and Rocky Graziano all on the games roster.
Developed by Sculptured Software and published by Electro Brain Corp, Pack-In-Video Co and Playtronic Industrial, Boxing Legends of the Ring was released in 1993 on both the SNES and Genesis in Japan and the US, with a Brazilian release on Genesis in 1993 as well.
A special edition of Boxing Legends of the Ring was released in Mexico and the southern states of the US with the title Chavez II which will be covered in a future entry.
