Portal 2 is the wildly successful sequel to the first person puzzle platformer, Portal. Improved graphics, added game mechanics, and deeper story.
If you don't know about Portal by now, you must be living under a rock. Released in '07 for consoles and PC as part of The Orange Box, this puzzle platformer/FPS game was an experimental title based on the DigiPen game Narbacular Drop. In fact, most all of the developers for Narbacular Drop went on to create Portal. Valve never expected it to do as well as it did, but it surely did.
