Control -Part14: Having a BLAST in Quarry & Marshal spills the BEANS! This is one tricky luck puzzle
0This is UFONmans Control (Standard Edition on Gamepass) playthrough, but with story DLC's "The Foundation" and "AWE". Didn't know the Gamepass version has those in it as well, but it does and I do them. Haven't played it before or seen any gameplay of it, so going in totally blind. I wasn't going to play this, but since I got a free subscription to XBOX Gamepass for a month, I guess I might as well do it. I don't know anything else about the game, other than it's supposed to be a supernatural horror action game (Steam recommended it because it's "similar" to Resident Evil 4 Remake, but I highly doubt that)... which seems like it might be something that works for me. Especially since I know that it's from the makers of Alan Wake and those are horror action shooters. You sure get a lot better at English in this game... BECAUSE THERE'S SO MUCH TEXT! It's also the longest playthrough I've recorded for Youtube, thus far. English commentary and forced to use keyboard and mouse, since GAMEPASS/XBOX APP doesn't work with ps4 pad in this game... and I don't want to install a dingy 3rd party software just for this.
As a reminder: Like all of my playthroughs, there's going to be lots of swearing and cursing, so don't watch if you have a problem with that. Also trying to find all the lore and story the game has to offer. So expect lots of snooping and looking around, pretty much how a completionist would play. That will make the playthrough a lot longer, so if it's not your cup of tea, then you shouldn't watch it. Not sure sure how hard the game is and there doesn't seem to be a difficulty setting, so there might be rage and frustration... but we'll see if I break anything (like my face to a wall).
