🎮 COOKING MAMA COOKSTAR Game Review | Bottom of the Dumpster Fire
Anton cooks food that only mildly violates health and safety standards with Cooking Mama.
Cooking Mama: Cookstar's PlayStation 4 port literally came out while I was editing this episode. I thought it'd be out today, not (at least) a week ago!
Cooking Mama: Cookstar is a game developed by First Playable Productions and licensed by Planet Entertainment, originally released on the Nintendo Switch on March 31st, 2020, and then on PS4 on March 31st, 2021, except it broke street date in the US, and I guess they went "screw it, let's release it early". I actually bought it then to review it just after it came out. My entire review's premise is that Cooking Mama: Cookstar upset the creators of Cooking Mama with its release. A lot. It pretends it's canon, but it's not. And then it went into talking about cryptocurrency and the blockchain, and I have no idea why Planet Entertainment decided to market their Cooking Mama game with that, but I guess they did. And then a PlayStation 4 port? Cooking Mama: Cookstar PS4 wasn't something anyone asked for, but we still got it. And here's a review of, well, Cooking Mama Cookstar for the Nintendo Switch but I found some PS4 gameplay and I pretended to do the same motions, it's not very good either.
