A GBA-inspired BeepBox music cover of "Cool Shrine (涼社)" (also known as "Cool Corporation") from Shinobi (PS2).

Celebrating our 500th video, we have a cover of an absolute banger from Shinobi for the PlayStation 2. While I haven't finished the game as of this video, I can certainly say it's an awesome hack and slash experience with a great soundtrack.

This cover has probably taken me the longest to complete, taking about a full week due to messing around with the stereo settings and panning. I particularly like how the drums came out, shifting around from side to side every few beats.

In terms of the style for this cover, I chose instrumentation that I felt emulated what you'd hear in a port for the GameBoy Advance as I really enjoy that semi-compressed sound. Personally, I kinda like it a bit more than how the instruments sound without the compression filter, but that's just me.
