Corpse Killer - 3DO (1994)
2I would be FINE with these B-movies if they really leaned on things a bit more. They really come close. It just blows me away that critics at the time interpreted Digital Pictures as being exploitive, violent, sexual, and offensive. These guys basically churned out the equivalent of kid-friendly 3 Ninjas movies with a touch of puberty. I may have to just go over this whole DP thing at some point, because it's too much for this. Either way, this has so much wasted promise.
And where does it start becoming a waste? The actual game. There's no game here. Non-FMW Genesis shooters has movement and action...this just throws a neatly queued line of zombies at you, politely waits for you to finish, then moves on to the next line. It's a snore. I would love to...love...this cheese, but I can't. There's nothing redeeming in the rest of the game. Which is a shame, because most of the time these actors actually seem like they're having a decent time and somehow making "IDGAF" look cheerful.
