Correcting the wiring for DS18B20 for the Raspberry Pi Pico Temperature module
5This video is another continuation from the live stream I did.
This is the prototype board (perf board) for the raspberry pi pico temperature module I have been working on. Originally I wanted to complete the board during the livestream. That was too ambitious, so I decided to make shorter progress videos. If you watch my soldering playlist you will see some of the other work I did. I may be releasing these videos out of order. I have recorded different parts.
While testing the prototype board I discovered that I had miswired the DS18B20. It was wired backwards. This could have damaged both the pico and the raspberry pi i had it connected to. I corrected the wiring and then tested it with the C++ code I had done in a previous video.
