What a stupid game.

A bit complicated to explain, but:

- The statue uses a counter to count the amount of blobs destroyed; once it reaches 9 the statue is completed.
- The damageable triggers for the blobs are not active until you enter the Ball Trigger inside the statue. Exiting the Ball Trigger will deactivate the damageable triggers. Killing a damageable trigger will increment the counter by 1.
- After a blob is destroyed, it will start a 3 second timer that reactivates itself. This will reactivate it even if you've already exited the Ball Trigger. The timer running out will decrement the counter by 1.

So you:
- Have the map on Main Docking Bay; the map being on the wrong room means it won't prevent you from unmorphing inside the statue.
- Shoot at a blob with charged Hyper Beam, morph into the Ball Trigger, the blob will activate and be killed by the Hyper Beam.
- Unmorph, therefore exiting the Ball Trigger, and move to the right.
- The blob will reappear after 3 seconds.
- Shoot at the blob with charged Hyper Beam then morph, again. This time, you'll kill both the already active blob, AND the damageable trigger that will immediately reactivate when you enter the Ball Trigger; therefore incrementing the counter twice. After the timer runs out it will only decrement the counter by 1, so you've incremented it by 1 total.
- Repeat this until the counter reaches 9.

For your position, the further back you are, the easier it is to hit the blob, BUT too far back and you won't enter the Ball Trigger (or at least not immediately, which is required). A similar issue for your angle; the further left your angle, the easier it is to hit the blob, but too far left and you won't be able to move to the right afterward.

After the first time (i.e., once you already have the blob remain active), you can't tell if you actually succeeded or not, as there's no indication if the reappearing damageable trigger was killed. You just have to keep doing this over and over until you're eventually finished and hope for the best.

As this requires getting out of bounds in the first place, you still have to do the OoB in Main Docking Bay, but it skips having to get back to MDB later (through the Zipline Station Alpha OoB), and doing MDB a second time.
