CosmoDreamer Stage EX Clear (Equipment C-A-C-D)
1A flashy stage performance in 16 bullet patterns.
This stage was introduced with CosmoDreamer Version 2.00 and it's probably the best Touhou EX stage in quite a while. It follows the formula accurately; a midboss with 3 attacks that drops a 1UP item, and a lengthy boss at the end, with a long timeout phase in the penultimate healthbar.
Some of these patterns are stupid hard for no reason, and resources are quite tight; you only get 1 full bomb back each death, so collecting bubbles to refill bombs over time is important here.
Did I mention how good the homing shot is for survival in this game? Well, in this stage, it ABSOLUTELY shines. Stage navigation becomes nearly trivial in some places, and that one boss pattern where you're getting chased around the screen just absolutely seals it. Honestly, I haven't played the stage with different equipment yet, so I have no idea how to even route that pattern with a forward-facing shot, lol.
Also, this was the first time I ever arrived at the final. No idea how I cleared it, I should've died like 50 times.
