90One of our greatest weaknesses in this Cosmoteer challenge is ion beams. Ion beams cannot be shot down by flak. Ion beams are fairly weak against shields, but the shields that we are using are weaker than the standard shields. The best way for us to defeat ships that use ion beams, is to either out manoeuvre them or to out gun them.
