Could This NEW ROGUELIKE Be The In Death: Unchained SUCCESSOR? - PCVR 4090 Gameplay
23The Light Brigade is releasing soon onto the Quest 2, Steam, and PSVR2 and it is a much needed roguelike that mixes a little bit of In Death: Unchained with older military style (think WW1) weapons and demon fighting to make a truly fun experience. Step into the world of The Light Brigade and clear your way past enemies with the power of prayer on your side.
Intro Movie Clip - "Constantine" (2005)
★ In this game you'll have the opportunity to play as one of 6 different classes; the rifleman, the scout, the pistolier, the assault, the militia, and one unknown class. Each class is unlocked by reaching rank 5 of the previous class. In the main hub is where you'll choose your class and stock up for the next run. You'll also find a target practice area, a "blacksmith" to upgrade your weapons and traits, a vendor whom you saved out on your runs and the gate leading into the actual game. One other thing you'll find in the hub is another gate that leads you to what appears to be a survival run or endless runner called the Sun God Runs. There are no bosses on the endless runner and instead it's designed to test your survival skills to see how far you can get. Back over on the main "dungeons" you'll have to clear each area you come to before proceeding to the next area. You must do this about 3 or 4 times before you encounter a boss. Boss battles are unique and stylized for very engaging combat. during the runs as you take down enemies you'll collect souls. These will be used to rank up your class. You'll also find scattered about jars and chests with random items from bombs to weapon attachments. If you die during a run you'll get 2 chances to make it back to your body and recover your souls (more if upgraded at the blacksmith). Dieing 3 times during a run will end the run and bring you back to the hub to start all over again. This is an extremely fantastic roguelike game and has countless hours of replayability with solid mechanics and a very nice art style to it. The music gets pretty intense as well and really gets you moving during combat. All in all I'd highly recommend this game.
