Welcome back to my Countdown to Sonic Mania! This is a series of videos looking back at the majority of the Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise in anticipation for the upcoming 2D platformer Sonic Mania scheduled for release August 15th 2017
Sonic Unleashed released in 2008 on multiple consoles. It is the first game in the franchise to run off the Hedgehog Engine created specifically for 3D Sonic games. With the planet being split apart by Eggman, Sonic and his new friend Chip must travel the world and restore Earth to its normal state. Sonic also has other problems, At night he transforms into a Werehog due to Eggman's manipulation.
The fire wizards have to be on of the most annoying enemies in this game! I mention it in the video but man, Sega really knew how to make what already was a long and drawn out gameplay style in the warehog even more long and drawn out. I do not like fighting the wizards in the first place....now insert fire. UGH! That and the bees make Arid Sands Night Act 1 my least favorite Wearhog stage in the game. Other than that.....its not so bad. Actually kinda short if you avoid enemy swarm traps.

This series is going to be long! So to cut down a bit, I will not be playing the DLC stages.
