Welcome back to my Countdown to Sonic Mania! This is a series of videos looking back at the majority of the Sonic The Hedgehog Franchise in anticipation for the upcoming 2D platformer Sonic Mania scheduled for release August 15th 2017
Sonic Heroes released in Japan late 2003 and was Sonic's very first multi-platform game. Other territories would get the game in early 2004. The GameCube version came out first and was the most stable. The Xbox and PS2 versions released at later dates as they were ported from the GCN using the Renderware Engine.
Finally we'er here at the Last Story. Again, sorry for the delay. Not only have I been trying to play other games but getting through the other 3 stories in this was was kind of a hassle. Metal Madness is boss fight where you play as Team Rose, Chaotix, and team Dark. Using the True Superpower of Teamwork, we buy Team Sonic enough time to Transform into Team Super Sonic. Metal Overlord is the final Boss of the game. While in super form, Team Sonic has abilities not yet seen in the game. Not my favorite final boss of all time, but not awful like some others. Overall, Sonic Heroes is a pretty solid game. I'm glad I still own it. The next game on this list is Sonic 06 I believe. Pray for me.

I will only be playing the Team Sonic and Last stories in this series. If you would like to see me play the other stories (Dark, Rose, Chaotix) Please, make sure you follow me on twitter and my twitch channel as I will be streaming those stories.
