One of the trees outside my window looked like a cow, and I felt inspired.


I know that as far as animations go, this one is very simple! This was supposed to just be a drawing, but once I had added the party lights, I realized that it would look better if you could see them turning on/off, and if it had a few more moving elements.


I had a finished and rendered version, and then I realized I'd made a mistake and the movement of the balloon and the note symbols didn't line up right, so I had to go back and redo a lot of it.The entire process of creating an animation in Photoshop (first time for me) was kind of aggravating, and I think I'll stick to editing in Resolve if I want to do this kind of thing again!


Either way, it was fun, I learned a lot. Was listening to some Lofi while editing, and it suits the vibe of the animation pretty well. Maybe I'll release a version with music if I can get my hands on something royalty-free.
