0Here is an unedited version of The Cowboy Life Simulator Prologue BETA by Rock Games, I got in contact with Andy from Rock Games S.A and grovelled a bit for a tryout before it comes available on Steam for free on the 6th Of January.
I am going to be doing a fully edited version not from the stream will full review but heres just a taste of the complete playthrough

I had been looking forward to this game for quite some time, if this prologue is just a taste of the game, were in for something huge. This is what Red Dead Online was missing and Rock Games have hit the target. Graphics are great, such a different look to the wild west instead of smooth terrain, its what you would expect. The game has a nice simplified crafting system that allows you to follow all aspects of the game, instead of grinding for just one thing, while I was playing it I came across a guitar, being a player myself I got to give it a bash.. six strings, six keys plus mouse for chords and changes. I was impressed just a few mins in then it just got better, you even got to unload some bullets into some bandits pretty well 15 mins into game play to make sure people got the shooting factor out of there system. Food and water isn't an issue at the start of the game, but I bet that might change later in the full version.
I know why they never released it back in October now, as they wanted to get the language packs in as well as fix up some bits and peaces, and they achieved that goal. I do not have a top end system, I comfortably played and streamed this at the same time.
After you finish the prologue, it continues to give you the chance to build up your farm and explore. I found a radio in the wild west that I thought was a bit strange but it does have a purpose to find extra missions and tasks.... I guess it beats a strange Indian fellow shooting an arrow in your back with a mission π
This is a enjoyable game with plenty of things to discover, shoot, and as I said, this is only the prologue and I cannot wait until the full version is released.
