HI, this video shows you how still operate your ANDROID phone when the navigation buttons (soft keys) have stopped working. The phone was dropped and smashed the lower section of the screen which broke the bottom buttons. You can still use your phone by downloading a free app called BUTTON SAVIOR which places the navigations keys on the actual screen.
Button Savior works by sticking a little row on the side of the screen that disappears behind a small transparent toggle when not in use. Tapping that arrow pulls the row back out, displaying home, return and recent buttons. You can change the icons on the row, the side of the screen it appears on, and the order everything appears in.
It is not as good as having a fully working phone but it is free and might help out if you need your phone working straight away and haven't got time to fix it or buy a replacement.
