Here is Crash Bandicoot 1 but in Japanese for PS1. I manage to get through all levels up to the Final Boss, Cortex. The session ends with me Failing the second Key Level, Fumbling in the Dark. I reach up to 90% of the game completed. The next part will be collecting the remaining 8 Gems/Diamonds for 100% completion. In Japanese Crash Bandicoot, there are quite some changes with the gameplay, music, and voices.

Here is a list of the changes I found in JP Crash Bandicoot:

1. Crash has different Voice Lines in the whole game (even has a voice clip when entering a stage or triggering a bonus level)

2. Gems are called Diamonds and Wumpa Fruit are called Apples (Ringo)

3. Getting an Aku Aku (Level 1 or Level 2) at the start of any level is rewarded a Hint of Text from Aku about the level. There are a few extra Akus in a few levels just for this purpose.(Similar to the Hints that were given in between loading screens in N. Sane Trilogy).

4. The Green Gem is located in Hog Wild and the Red Gem in Lost City. (Early Access for these 2 color Gems only)

5. Sunset Vista is Swapped for Slippery Climb in Island 2 + Slippery Climb has a lot of crate changes (Including a Tawna Bonus Level)

6. Cortex Power has a Tawna Bonus Level

7. The High Road ending portion has no ice bridge parts (Slight Readjusted platforms)

8. Papu Papu (1st Boss) has 5 Hits instead of 3 + the Songs for Tawna's Bonus Stage, Koala Kong, Pinstripe, N. Brio, and Cortex are all different.
