Dear gamers, it's time to start a walkthrough of the second game in Crash Bandicoot trilogy on PS1. Originally, i've attempted to record this game for the channel in April 2017 before abandoning the walkthrough five levels in and ultimately terminating it from the channel in late 2019 in preparation for this replacement, the process having been greatly affected by the techical difficulties that prevented me from recording PS1 games for most of 2020. With that out of the way, enjoy the walkthrough.

About Game: Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back is 1997 action-adventure platformer video game developed by Naughty Dog Interactive and published by Universal Interactive and Sony Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 1. The game is a direct sequel to 1996's Crash Bandicoot and is notable for officially cementing Crash Bandicoot as one of the main commercial actors for original PlayStation, becoming one of the best-selling games for the console and one of the most popular games in the series. In 2017, this game was remade as part of N. Sane Trilogy for 8th generation consoles alongside 1996's Crash Bandicoot and 1998's Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped.

Story of the game is set one year after events of the first game, following Crash Bandicoot, mutated Eastern-Barred Bandicoot as he is tricked into assisting his old enemy, Doctor Neo Cortex collect 25 power crystals scattered all over Whumpa Island under the pretense of Cortex harnessing the crystals' power to stop the potential world-ending cataclysm, with Crash being unaware of Cortex and his new assistant N. Gin's hidden plan for world domination originally hampered by Crash defeating all of Cortex's minions during his rescue mission a year earlier...
