This is a full playthrough of the E3 Beta version of the original Crash Bandicoot. It was released at E3 in May 1996, four months before the retail version. It's only playable up to Koala Kong by normal means, but the remaining levels exist on the disc and can be accessed by different methods. Up to Koala Kong, there are only minor differences from the finished game, but the remaining levels are much closer to the earlier prototype version with massive differences.

The most notable example being Whole Hog, which did not appear in the prototype and almost appears like a completely different level with several unused obstacles. Toxic Waste is glitched and can only be finished by removing the enemies. The bridge levels appear even less finished than the earlier prototype, The Lab has a unique design that only appears in this version and Dr. Neo Cortex has major graphical issues. Since you can't get some of the gems, this is just a regular playthrough of the game to show what the levels look like.
