1This is my speedrun video to show I have completed this game in this time. I think I did pretty well, despite having some obvious mistakes. Since I live in the UK, I am used to the PAL version, and there was some slight differences here on the NTSC game that caused me to die a few times, although more of them were just my mistakes xD
The best example is Toxic Waste, which I can easily do on a PAL console by just running straight forward after the intentional death after the first check point. This will cause me to go under the bouncing barrels easily until the last one near the end, in which I have to do a slightly tricky jump, Here however, I seem to be squashed by it, so I had to do a lot of those bypassing jumps.
Another is the Lost City and Sunset Vista levels. On the NTSC, the bats response slightly faster, which means I have to wait longer to do them without making a mistake (which I did :p).
My personal best is actually around the 1:13:35 mark. I made more constant mistakes here than in my last run, which consisted of me dying a lot in The Lab. I actually did better in The Lab on this run through, and Slippery Climb as well, surprisingly. I nearly ran out of lives to though, so it was a close call. I could probably make the 1 hour mark if I practised and practised, but right now this is my recorded best time.
First Island by about the 15 minutes mark.
Second Island by about the 37 minutes mark.
